Connect DidYouSEO to ChatGPT

ChatGPT can use DidYouSEO's tools through a custom MCP connector. Once added, ChatGPT can audit pages, read your site scores and pull Search Console data in the conversation.

You need: A ChatGPT plan that allows custom MCP servers. On Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces an admin may need to allow them first.

Setup

Server URL

https://didyouseo.com/mcp
  1. 1

    Open plugins

In ChatGPT, go to Plugins (chatgpt.com/plugins), select the + button and choose Add custom MCP server.

  2. 2

    Add DidYouSEO

Name it DidYouSEO. Under Connection choose Public endpoint and paste https://didyouseo.com/mcp. For authentication pick OAuth and leave client ID and secret empty; ChatGPT registers itself.

  3. 3

    Create and sign in

Accept the warning, select Create as a plugin, then sign in to DidYouSEO in the window that opens.

  4. 4

    Use it in a chat

Start a new chat, type @ and select DidYouSEO. Then ask for an audit or a Search Console summary.

Menu names change from time to time. If a step doesn't match what you see, check OpenAI's guide to connecting an MCP server.

What to ask ChatGPT

Search Console prompts need Search Console connected in your DidYouSEO account.

“Audit https://example.com/pricing and list the top 3 fixes.”
“Which of my pages lost the most Google clicks this month?”
“Find queries where I rank 8-20 and tell me what to change.”
“Check the structured data on https://example.com and fix the errors.”
